Kate James is a New York based comedy writer, actor and improviser. She most recently wrote for the TV show Work In Progress on Showtime and appears as the character Miriam on the series. In the past she has written for Comedy Central (Jordan Klepper Solves Guns), NPR, Slate and The Second City (Second City's Guide to the Opera, The Art of Falling). Kate appears on the cult-hit podcast Hello From The Magic Tavern and once went viral in an improvised video where she plays a very drunk Chicago Cubs fan. She also writes material for Sir Patrick Stewart's personal and award show appearances.
Steve Waltien is a Peabody Award winning writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where he's been nominated for five Emmy Awards. He's also written for The Opposition with Jordan Klepper and the Comedy Central docuseries Klepper. He's appeared in numerous TV shows including Chicago PD and in the Mike Birbiglia film Don't Think Twice. He's an alum of The Second City Mainstage in Chicago and a member of the critically acclaimed Improvised Shakespeare Company.
